Arkansas River (Pine Bluff Pool) -
(Updated 10-30-2013) The University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff Bass Team said water temperature in the upper 60s. Water clarity is around one foot in most places. The river is creeping along with most current being generated by barge and lock traffic when present. The bass are on their typical fall patterns for this stretch of the river. The bigger fish will be found around the schools of larger shad and can be caught with a variety of shad-imitating lures.
