The largemouth bass spawn is in full swing and they can be seen cruising the shallows or on beds. Popular ways to catch these bedding fish is by spotting their bed and casting crawfish colored jigs or blue gill colored swim baits past their beds for the best results. The trout fishing has also picked up with black and green wooly buggers producing the most bites. The smallmouth bass fishing has also been good along the dam with plastic baits.
