The Striped bass bite is on fire on Lake Martin, Alabama. Numbers are great and most every trip has landed a fish over 20 lbs. Concentrate on the lower end of the lake where there's more deep water. Fish are between 35 - 100 feet right now, both live bait and trolling have been the top producers. We've been offering free trips if we done catch 8 fish, that's how hot the fishing is. Down lined live shad between 4" - 8" during early mornings and at night work best for these times. But once the sun comes out the trolling bite is where it's at. Buck tail jigs, spoons, crankbaits, & swimbaits are the best options. Start you mornings off looking in water ranging from 50-70 feet. As the day goes on move a little deeper.
