Fishing...in my house?

One of these days you'll be out on the water and you will have to use the "flipping" method
to get to the big ones. Don't be thinking that "flipping" is an easy
task! I won't say that it's hard but it does need a bit of practice. And you
know what they say, practice makes perfect right? . I myself like to practice
my flipping before I go out on the lake just in case. Here is what I like doing..
You will need one bowl, one big glass and a small glass and a practice weight(don't
use anything with hooks in the house!). Place the bowls in the order you wish.

Note:
The flipping method is best used with Baitcasting rod and reel. Stand at about 10 feet away from the targets , open your spool and take your practice weight in your hand. Now, with your other hand hold your thumb on the spool so you will have control of the line being fed out. Make sure the release is on! Ready? Ok.. now.. letting go of the lure lift your rod tip up so your practice weight slowly swings away from you, sort of like Tarzan.. When the swing is almost done take your thumb off the spool to let line out. Try to get the weight in the bowl.

When you see your getting good at it go for the big glass. Then the small glass. Try to not tip the glasses over. After you feel comfortable doing this take one or two steps back and start over.

Once you get really good at flipping your ready to go on the water! Your all set! Now just a reminder for you people with cats, mine tends to attack my weight so I usually make sure it is sleeping or somthing. You can also practice this outside in your backyard, just make sure you explain to the neighbors what your doing so they don't think your crazy! Trust me, it's happened to me before!
