SAMURAI
BASSIN’
by Jeff Morton
The
dictionary defines “Ninja” as
a member of a group of stealth mercenaries in feudal Japan, which is
a
great description of Gambler’s Hibdon Series Ninja Spin spinnerbaits. They
can help you stage “seek and
capture raids” on bass.
Featuring three uniquely
shaped blades, which give the look of a baitfish school while rotating
on their light wire frame, the
Ninja
Spin goes through the heaviest vegetation with ease. Available in four
sizes from 1/8 ounce to ½ ounce, the Ninja Spin is a
great go-to bait when you’re looking to cover water… and catch fish.
One of
my favorites is the 3/8 ounce all white model, which is great for
stained water. The three blades give off enough vibration to call up
the big ones, while the
white color is visible, even in muddied water. Coupled with a CastAway
SB1 6’0” medium
power pistol-grip casting rod and a Quantum Energy 5.2:1 reel, I can sling
the Ninja Spin under docks and low branches all day long, seeking out Mr. Line
Sides.
So, little grasshopper,
try Gambler’s Ninja Spin spinnerbait … and watch the bass snatch the rod from
your hand!
