Lake Evergreen / Bloomington

Both Lakes, Evergreen and Bloomington are starting to heat up with water temps in the mid to upper 50's and with a couple of warm days should hit the 60 degree mark. Several reports of crappie, saugeye and muskie have been reported at Evergreen with two muskie over 48", one at 48 1/2 and another one at an amazing 52" being taken. Crappie are starting to move shallow but are still being found in 12-15 feet of water. Lake Bloomington is reporting some crappie and walleye activity but bass fishing is still very slow.
Baits of choice are tubes, minnows and jigs for crappies and large spinnerbaits for muskie.
Live crawlers and leeches at catching some walleye/saugeye on both lakes and crankbaits trolled slowly are also producing.
