Trash Trapper Product Review by Jeff Bruhl

Product Review

Louisiana is known as the sportsman’s paradise. Louisiana is also known for something else; litter. The trash on the side of the roadways and waterways of our state is terrible and all too common. Anyone who travels our state cannot help but notice the amount of cans, paper, and other trash that is thrown or blown out of our vehicles and boats. One man has introduced a product if used, would reduce the amount of litter in our states; Tom Schafer of Orion Industries, Inc. invented the Trash Trapper®. This trash collector keeps your boat, camper, or vehicle clean and trash free.

The Trash Trapper is a 5-gallon capacity trash bag. It has several wonderful advantages. First, it attaches to any boat or vehicle. The occupants can add cans, line, and other trash easily to the bag. The bag is carried to the nearest garbage can and the contents are dumped after a fishing trip. Second, the bag is reusable. Simply wash occasionally and attach it to the holder. Finally, the product works. The Trash Trapper® holds the trash until you reach the dock. This is where the trademark “Leave nothing behind but your wake” lives up to its name.

The operation of the Trash Trapper® is easy. Just attach the bag to your boat or vehicle using the adhesive strip on the back of the holder. Attach the bag to the holder. Load with trash. When ready to dump, pull the bag off the holder, hold the bag over a trashcan and unzip the bottom of the bag. After dumping the trash through the bottom of the bag, zip the bag back, and attach to holder. Wash the bag when necessary. That is all it takes to keep your boat free of cans and other trash that roll around and blow out when running down the lake or highway.

The Trapper is only about $12. It comes with a full one-year warranty. With care, the bag will last for several years. It is great for your vehicle, camper, boat, or 1,000 other places. Next time you see a can blow out of a boat or vehicle, remember that the Trash Trapper® would have prevented the unnecessary littering of the water or highway.

A recent law in Mississippi requires boats to have a trash collection device on the boat. Other states are working on laws to require the same for their state. The Trash Trapper® meets the guidelines for a trash collection apparatus. In addition, there are federal laws against littering, dumping, or introducing plastics and other trash into the water. Besides being a great environmentally friendly idea, it is the law.

This is one great product. Visit the website, www.trashtrapper.com.
