Water temp 79-81
Set
out for Harris this morning, with the recent rain and cooler
weather the water temps have dropped over 10 degrees. I started
out with some top water, and caught nothing but jack fish. Once
the sun came into view, I started hitting the grass with a Deep
Creek 10 inch paddle tail worm, a senko, and my trusty jig-X.
On one spot in the grass, I caught 10-12 small keepers ripping the
jig through the grass, they were slamming it. I put that down
after the bite slowed down and picked up a Texas rigged senko and
caught a few more. I moved to one of my favorite points, and picked
up the paddle tail worm, and caught some slot fish and 3 over the
slot within 20 minutes on one point.
When the bite shut down on the point, I moved to the trestle, and
caught another one over the slot on the 10 inch worm, along with
a few more slots and small keepers.
