Most all of our small ponds and Lakes are now
completely covered with vegetation, with the exception of Lake
Rhonkonkoma and Fort pond, but the fish are still hungry.
I fished 7 to 8 pm 7/23/07 in waders at Twin Lakes in Wantagh
Long Island and only had i hit and landed a 4.5 lb. 21 " largemouth.
Lure was a 4 " green Gary Yamamoto senko.
Frog baits are working really well for those who use them.
But due to the weeds everything needs to be fished weedless.
