Bass fishing is just okay. Mixed results are coming in from fishermen
I talked to at the ramps. Some are catching small limits while
others are only managing to catch two or three during an eight
hour period. The night tournaments still seem to be doing better,
but the anglers are fishing slowly and they have to work hard for
every bite. The Carolina rig still seems to be dominating this
week and a variety of plastics and colors seem to be working. Main
lake points really close to channels or deep water seem to be paying
off for the winning teams. It is going to be tough, so fish slow,
downsize and fish a variety of plastics.
